#Usb 3.0 pci express card kills anything plugged in drivers
So my question is: did I get a bad USB card? Or do I just miss some driver? I can't find any DeLock specific drivers in the repos.

After restarting Bitwig none of the MIDI devices give any input at all. I have two MIDI devices connected in the USB PCI card, and they work for some seconds perhaps, but at some point, pretty early on, it just hangs (tested in Bitwig). Then I changed USB port to one that was not from the PCI board, and now everything works perfectly. My USB audio card was acting really weirdly, like it did not get index 1 even with options snd_usb_audio index=1, and in alsamixer, whenever I selected that USB audio card, it would exit and print cannot load mixer controls: Invalid argument.Ĭouldn't for the life of me make anything audio related work. With my keyboard in another USB port (not the PCI card), I debugged the next problem: I don't know if DeLock is known to work well with Linux? It states Linux compatibility, and comes with drivers on CD but not sure if it includes one for Linux, but my PC doesn't have CD reader.Īt first when I connected my keyboard there something really weird happened: the keyboard stopped working and shut down and my terminal kept spamming the enter key apparently, even after disconnecting the keyboard. I got a USB PCI card with 4 USB ports, from DeLock (there a number 89297 on the box), and have some severe problems with it.
